Subject: Native Americans on trial for murder in Walla Walla County

Synopsis: Stanislaus was charged with the murder of a white man whose name was unknown to the Territory. Puk-el-pett-sa was charged as an accomplice for encouraging the murder. Stanislaus was found guilty and Puk-el-peet-sa not guilty.
