Reward in Geiger Murder Offered

Source: The Evening Review (Spokesman), June 26, 1885, page 4

Sheriff Whittier offers a reward of $100 for the capture of the Indian who killed Geiger last Saturday night. This reward should be increased by the commissioners and every effort made to arrest and punish the bold offender. If this murderer escapes it will embolden others to deeds of violence.
